CONSULTANCY PACKAGE: -GIVE WRITER & MANAGEMENT POINTERS AND ADVICE ON HOW TO MAXIMIZE EXPOSURE; -INTRODUCE WRITERS MUSIC TO LABEL EXECUTIVES THAT CAN EXPLOIT HIS/HER MUSIC FOR DIFFERENT SONG PLACEMENTS INCLUDING TV/FILM/SYNC OPPORTUNITIES, PROMOTE WRITER, GROW THEIR BRAND AND INCREASE HIS GENERAL PRESENCE THROUGHOUT THE MUSIC INDUSTRY; -ARTIST DEVELOPMENT; -PERFECT EXISITING SONGS THROUGH RE-CUTTING SONGS TO PERFECT THE DEMO RECORDING, SECURE ENGINEERS TO DO BETTER MIXES OF HIS SONGS WHICH WILL IN TURN GIVE WRITER A BETTER CHANCE OF SONG PLACEMENTS; -BRING MUSIC TO VARIOUS RECORD LABEL EXECUTIVES WITH THE ULTIMATE INTENTION OF SECURING A WORLDWIDE CO/PUBLISHING DEAL FOR THE WRITER OR RECORDING CONTRACT FOR THE ARTIST (Single deal/Development Deal/Full recording contract/Song Deal ect...); - SOLICIT TRACKS FROM VARIOUS CURRENT PRODUCERS FOR WRITER/ARTIST TO COLLAB WITH – TO EXPAND THEIR SOUND; - " PRESENT WRITER/ARTIST TO POSSIBLE NETWORKING EVENTS; - "SIGN ARTIST/WRITER UP TO PERFORMANCE RIGHTS AGENCIES AND CULTIVATE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ARTIST AND PRO FOR LONG TERM EFFECT
ARTIST HD PACKAGE: 3 Recorded songs (Top quality studio, tracks provided, songs co/written with me and fully recorded and finished with background arrangements, mixed, mastered and ready to present to any Label Executive, A&R, ect..); We will completely finish this recorded body of work with the artist so that they have a professional level, quality project that they can use for demo shopping purposes.); *Artists that show an exceptional artist prowess and star power in the studio, will have the opportunity to have their demo shopped by my production company to various label executives with proof of exposure for an additional fee detailed in the Consultancy package.)
ARTIST MD PACKAGE: 2 Recorded songs on the artist (studio time provided, vocal production and arrangement of your songs, fully recorded demo, rough mix provided but you will provide your own tracks) Artist will own the song for shopping purposes for a limited but ultimately will not own the master recording if they did not co/write the song or produce the track.; Mixing and Mastering not included
YOUNG DREAMER DEMO SONG PACKAGE: Vocal Production on 1 Fully recorded song on the artist (track (if needed) and studio time provided, full song with background arrangements and rough mixed demo and master. Co/written song with myself, or the artist may bring an original song. Any song co/written with Makeba, the artist will have use of the song for 6 months for shopping purposes but ultimately will not own the master recording unless they co/write the song and or buy/own the track.
Songwriter Mentor sessions: This course will happen in studio and offer tips on writing catchy hooks, perfecting wordplay, song structure and the marriage of lyric to track. We will also cover song style according to genre, the psychology of A&R and label executives and effective song pitching. 3-hour minimum (I suggest 5 hours to start out)
Producer Mentor Sessions: This package consists of studio session guidance for the producer, working one on one with Makeba Woods on the various elements and tools that lead to creating a hit track. The session will also entail various pointers on:
Individual In-Studio Vocal Lessons: By the hour vocal lessons, in studio with one on one vocal coaching 3 hour minimum.
Phone Consultation: Hour long phone consult to answer questions about the music business, publishing, marketing, the process of creating and shopping a song demo, steps to landing a recording/distribution deal, ect...
